Facilitators support candidates’ online learning by reviewing and providing timely feedback on the CPA PEP module activities throughout the nine-week module (see schedule of offerings). Facilitators also monitor the module discussion board and respond to candidate email inquiries in a timely manner. Facilitators spend approximately one-to-two hours per week per assigned candidate. New facilitators are limited to six candidates or fewer for their first facilitation experience.

Compensation
Compensation is as follows:
Core and elective modules: $500 per candidate
Capstone 1: $1000 per group
Requirements
Interested applicants must live in western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, or Yukon) and have a CPA designation.
Training
Facilitator training includes a one-day, in-person training session and online activities to complete both before and after the in-person session. CPAWSB does not pay for participating in or travelling to the training.
Completing the training is mandatory; however, this does not guarantee a position.
New facilitators will be offered contracts based on candidate registration numbers and on their performance of the training activities.
