Getting Started - Admission Process

Before registering for a module in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP), or a CPA preparatory course, applicants must first be admitted to CPAWSB.

STEP 1:

The first step is to create a profile on My CPA Portal. My CPA Portal is CPAWSB's online portal for requesting a transcript assessment and receiving assessment results, submitting an admission application, registering for courses or modules, paying fees, and more.

Click here to access the getting started guide for creating a My CPA profile and for access to the portal

Enrollment Information & Steps:

  • Getting Started Guide – Creating a My CPA Profile
    - Creating, maintaining, and navigating your My CPA Profile
  • Creating a Profile

My CPA Portal:

  • my.cpawsb.ca

Note: Do not create a profile with CPAWSB, if you are an active member of an international accounting body that has a valid recognition agreement with CPA Canada or with any of the CPA legacy bodies (CA, CGA and CMA).

Please contact your respective province at the links below for more information. MRAs are administered by the provincial accounting bodies in each of the Western provinces.

  • Alberta
  • British Columbia/Yukon
  • Manitoba
  • Northwest Territories/Nunavut
  • Saskatchewan

STEP 2:

If you are not an applicant under an MRA, after you create your My CPA profile and activate it, your next steps will depend on the applicant type you fall under. Many of you will need to request a transcript assessment, but for some of you that will not be your next step. Applicant types are determined by your post-secondary education history.

Starting at the top, select the first applicant type that describes your situation to access enrollment information, instructions, and resources for that applicant type.
