Initial Costs for New Applicants

Most applicants must have their post-secondary transcripts assessed before submitting an admission application to the School. A transcript assessment determines eligibility to enroll in CPA PEP and indicates what, if any, education requirements are outstanding and can be fulfilled through CPA preparatory courses or a recognized post-secondary institution.

The non-refundable CPAWSB transcript assessment fee is $100 + GST.

Most applicants with international education will also be required to submit a third-party verification of their international transcripts. The preferred third-party assessment is a ‘course-by-course’ International Credential Advantage Package (WES ICAP) which is provided by World Education Services Canada. The cost for this assessment is $205.00 + GST paid directly to WES when ordering the ‘course-by-course’ WES ICAP assessment from them. The third-party evaluation is to determine the Canadian equivalency of your international degree, but not the courses associated with the degree. CPAWSB will evaluate the courses towards the CPA requirements during the CPAWSB transcript assessment process.

There will also likely be costs incurred in having official transcripts and documents sent directly to WES or CPAWSB from post-secondary institutions.
