Admission Requirements

All learners must meet the following criteria.

Academic Requirements

• Degree: A degree or equivalent.
• 120 Credit-Hour: Completion of at least 120 credit hours of post-secondary education.
• GPA: A minimum GPA of 65%, calculated based on the most recent 60 credits of post-secondary coursework.
• Accounting & Business Knowledge: 
  • A. Must be demonstrated by passing the Knowledge Assessment (KA).
    • Applicants must meet the degree, 120 credit hour, and the GPA requirements to be eligible for enrollment into the Knowledge Assessment (KA).
    • Applicants must start the foundational module within five years of passing the Knowledge Assessment.
  • B. An applicant may be exempt from the Knowledge Assessment if they qualify for exemption through accounting and business coursework.
    • At least one course among the 45 credit hours must have been completed within five years of admission.

Non-Academic Requirements

1. Good Character: As defined by the applicable provincial CPA body.
2. Lawful permission to study and/or work in the registered province/region.
