Annual Re-enrollment

All learners must complete annual re-enrollment to remain in good standing with CPAWSB.

Annual re-enrollment ensures you can:

  • Register for courses and modules
  • Maintain access to CPAWSB services and resources
  • Continue progressing through your CPA journey
  • Continue accumulating practical experience time (CPA PEP candidates only)

Annual dues support the development, delivery, and ongoing improvement of CPA education programs and learner services.

Important: The CPAWSB academic year runs from April 1 to March 31.

Learners are typically notified by email when annual re-enrollment opens and must complete the process before registering for courses or modules that begin after April 1.

CPA PEP Candidates

CPA PEP candidates who do not complete annual re-enrollment and pay their annual dues by May 31 will be suspended from the program.

While suspended, you:

  • Cannot register for modules.
  • Cannot receive practical experience recognition.
  • Cannot continue progressing through the program.

Late payments submitted after May 31 may be subject to a late fee.

Permanent Withdrawal

Candidates who remain suspended and do not pay their annual dues by the final deadline provided by CPAWSB will be permanently withdrawn from CPA PEP.

Consequences of Permanent Withdrawal

  • Loss of CPAWSB candidate status and privileges
  • Loss of credit for completed CPA PEP modules
  • Loss of access to online learner resources
  • Loss of previously earned practical experience

If you later wish to return to CPA PEP, you will be treated as a new applicant and will be required to complete a new transcript assessment.

If you have successfully completed the Common Final Examination (CFE) but have not yet met the practical experience requirement, you must continue to re-enroll annually as an active candidate until you become a CPA member.

This ensures your practical experience continues to be recognized and recorded.

Candidates admitted to membership may be eligible for a prorated refund of annual dues, depending on the timing of admission.

CPAWSB offers Temporary Program Leave for eligible candidates experiencing special circumstances.

A temporary leave may help you maintain your status while temporarily stepping away from your studies.
