CPA PEP Candidates

Candidates who wish to permanently withdraw from CPA PEP must submit their request in writing to [email protected].

Consequences of Withdrawal

Permanent withdrawal from CPA PEP results in:

  • Loss of credit for all completed CPA PEP modules
  • Loss of recognized practical experience
  • Loss of any transition provisions or special considerations granted under legacy transition arrangements
  • Loss of CPAWSB candidate rights and privileges
  • Loss of access to CPAWSB online resources

Re-admission

Former candidates seeking re-admission to CPA PEP are treated as new applicants and must complete a new transcript assessment and admission application. Admission requirements in effect at the time of reapplication will apply.

CPA Preparatory Courses

Students enrolled in CPA Preparatory Courses may request to permanently withdraw by emailing [email protected].

Students who do not register for courses and do not pay annual dues during the academic year (April 1 to March 31) will be withdrawn from the program and must complete a new transcript assessment and admission process before registering again.

Note: Students must complete annual re-enrollment and pay annual dues before the applicable deadline to maintain active status. Students who have not completed the re-enrollment process by March 31 will be withdrawn effective April 1.

Program Withdrawals or Expulsion

CPA PEP candidates may be suspended or withdrawn for:

  • Non-payment of fees
  • Failure to comply with the regulations of their provincial CPA body
  • Exhausting module or examination attempts
  • Failure to complete the program within established time limits
  • Academic or professional misconduct

Candidates who have been withdrawn may be considered for re-admission based on:

  • Whether they qualify for and merit re-admission

  • Any conditions imposed as part of re-admission
