CPA Canada Handbook Resources

Once you are formally accepted as a candidate in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP), you can access the Exam Reference Version of the CPA Canada Handbook. Within this section of the Handbook, you can access the following accounting standards frameworks used in Canada: 

  • Part I - International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 
  • Part II - Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
  • Part III - Accounting Standards for Not-for-profit Organizations (ASNPO)

You can also access the following assurance standard frameworks and other relevant frameworks used in Canada on the CPA Canada Handbook: 

  • Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS) 
  • Canadian Standards on Quality Management (CSQM)
  • Other Canadian Standards (Specialized Areas, Review Engagements, Related Services)

Knotia Platform

Knotia is CPA Canada's online research platform for storing reference materials. Through Knotia, you can access the following:
