Apply to CPA PEP

To enroll in CPA PEP, you must reside in Western Canada. Temporary residents of Canada must hold a valid study permit before applying.

Before applying to the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP), you must:

  • Have a completed transcript assessment.
  • Receive a transcript assessment result of PEP Eligible or PEP Conditional Core 1.

Important: Applications submitted before a transcript assessment has been completed will be cancelled.

When to Apply

CPA PEP admission applications are accepted throughout the year.

Most applicants submit their application based on:

  • The session in which they plan to start their first CPA PEP module, or
  • When they want to begin reporting their Practical Experience Requirements (PER).

To avoid registration issues:

  • Submit your admission application at least five business days before module registration closes to allow timely processing.
  • Applications submitted fewer than five business days before the registration deadline may not be approved in time. If your application is not approved before registration closes, a Module Registration Waitlist fee will apply.

If you miss a module registration deadline, you may still be able to register through the waitlist process.

Keep in mind:

  • Your CPA PEP admission application must be approved before you can join a module waitlist.
  • Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Applying at least one month before the module start date is strongly recommended.

We cannot guarantee application approvals for submissions made less than one month prior to the start of the module date.

Candidate Dues

Your initial candidate dues are paid at the time of application and are based on your intended start session.

  • Candidates starting in the Spring or Summer session pay full-year candidate dues.
  • Candidates starting in the Fall or Winter session pay half-year candidate dues.
