As public health measures associated with Covid-19 have moved to being a personal choice, and as part of our ongoing commitment to reviewing exam policies and procedures, CPA exam writers and staff working at exam centres in Western Canada are not required to wear masks, attest to their vaccination status, or provide proof of a negative Covid test to attend the exam centre.
As a condition of writing an in person exam, you must agree to an acknowledgement of risk and waiver of liability, accepting all risks associated with writing an exam in light of COVID-19. This waiver is included in the Training Contract for all registrations. Exam writers that are feeling unwell leading up to the exam day are encouraged to contact us regarding deferral options available.
Further questions or concerns regarding this policy should be directed to cpamodule@cpawsb.ca for CFE/PEP exams or prepexams@cpawsb.ca for preparatory course exams.
This policy will be reviewed and updated as needed. The School reserves the right to amend or revoke this policy at any time as a result of changes to public health guidelines, public health orders, government mandates and restrictions, and/or applicable laws.
