Navigating the CPA Professional Education Program Admission Process

Are you aspiring to become a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Canada? The first step towards this designation is the admission application. Please note: Transcript assessments typically take up to 10 business days to complete once all necessary documents are received. Plan accordingly to ensure your assessment aligns with the registration periods. Transcript assessments remain valid for one year* after completion and can be updated within that year if new documents are provided.

During the admission application process, you will need to establish that you possess good character and reputation. This is a mandatory requirement under provincial legislation and is done through your responses to specific questions on the admission application. 4. Required Documents at Admission Application

When you're ready to submit your admission application, you'll need to provide a few essential documents:

• Government-Issued ID: A copy of your government-issued ID is required to verify your legal name. This should be uploaded to your learner profile when requested.
• Lawful Permission to Work and Study in Canada: Applicants must be lawfully permitted to work and study in Canada. If requested, you will need to provide documentation to demonstrate your eligibility.
