Manage ILA Development Projects 

• Lead the creation and implementation of learner support initiatives, including academic advising, mentoring, peer support, and tutoring. 

• Conduct environmental scans and collaborate with internal teams to translate research and analytics into program improvements. 

• Apply innovative and Lean methodologies to enhance program delivery. 

• Participate in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 

• Facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration among internal and external partners. 

• Ensure compliance with privacy policies and conduct annual reviews of personal information practices. 

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the ILA Initiative. 

• Engage in relevant professional development. 

• Perform other duties related to the Initiative as assigned. 

Support External Relations 

• Collaborate with provincial CPA bodies, CPA Canada, community leaders, educators, and other partners to support learner success.

• Ensure public-facing program information is accurate and current. 

• Assist with recruitment, registration, and retention efforts. 

• Operate with cultural sensitivity and respect for Indigenous traditions. 

Assist ILA Student Advising 

• Provide additional advising support to students as needed. 

• Liaise with sponsors, employers, and institutions on behalf of learners. 

• Oversee training of staff in strategies to reduce barriers for Indigenous learners

• Maintains confidentiality in handling learner information. 

• Communicates clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats. 

• Builds positive relationships with learners, contractors, and vendors. 

• Works independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision. 

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Prioritizes tasks and manages schedules based on learner needs. 

• Adapts quickly to changing priorities and workloads. 

• Manages pressure and deadlines while being sensitive to learners’ experiences. 

• Resolves learner issues promptly or directs them to appropriate support. 

• Takes accountability for actions and outcomes. 

• Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed. 

• Willingness and ability to travel. 

• Delivers high-quality service with professionalism and courtesy.  

• Collaborates effectively within a team environment. 

• Contributes to continuous improvement of team processes. 

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
