My CPA Portal FAQ

You can update your personal and employment information by logging into your profile on My CPA portal. If you are changing your name or submitting transcripts with a different name than appears in your profile, you will be required to provide legal name change documentation, such as a marriage certificate or divorce decree.

If you move from one province to another within Western Canada, you will be required to change your governance (the provincial body with which you are affiliated), by contacting cpaapplication@cpawsb.ca as this cannot be done through My CPA Portal. Your PERT reporting must be complete and up-to-date before you can transfer to another province.

If you are moving to Western Canada from elsewhere in the country, contact your current body for information about how to transfer to CPAWSB. If you move to a province outside Western Canada, please contact cpaapplication@cpawsb.ca for next steps. Information about transferring to another region is available here.

Log into My CPA portal and click on 'Practical Experience'. Click on “Click here to access PERT”. Please see PERT Access for additional instructions.
