- Bachelor’s degree in education, assessment, psychometrics, measurement, or a related field required. Master’s degree in a related field is considered an asset.
- CPA designation or certification in assessment/credentialing, an asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
- 5 to 7+ years of progressive experience in exam development, professional certification, psychometrics, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience supporting high-stakes examination programs, including exam development, delivery, or marking operations.
- Working knowledge of exam content development methodologies, marking processes, and standard setting approaches (e.g., Angoff, Bookmark, Hofstee).
- Experience coordinating complex projects involving multiple partners, committees, or vendor relationships.
- Exposure to multiple choice question development principles and case based assessment design and marking frameworks.
- Strong understanding of assessment principles, exam development methodologies, and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to manage operational details and competing priorities across multiple exam activities and deadlines.
- Comfort working with data, psychometric concepts, and evidence supporting exam defensibility.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to fairness, accessibility, equity, and candidate centred assessment practices.
- Comfort working with modern digital tools, including Microsoft 365 and Artificial Intelligence enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
