Program Evaluator
The CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) delivers the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) and supports thousands of aspiring Chartered Professional Accountants across Western Canada. We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Program Evaluator to join our Admission Services team. In this role, you will support all phases of CPA PEP admissions—reviewing and approving applications, advising candidates, assessing international designates, and ensuring candidates remain in good standing throughout their program journey.
This position plays a key role in supporting candidates as they navigate admission requirements, regulatory obligations, and progression through CPA PEP. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with detailed information, and delivering high-quality service, this may be the perfect role for you.
Please note: This is a 12-month term position.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
Admissions & Registration
· Review and process CPA PEP admission applications, ensuring all requirements and documents are complete.
· Conduct name verification and process name change requests.
· Remove admission conditions once candidates meet requirements.
· Assess eligibility for PEP electives and temporary resident status compliance.
Candidate Support & Advising
· Provide timely, accurate information to candidates regarding admission requirements, program progression, study permits, and general inquiries.
· Prepare status letters, CPA transcripts, and documentation to support candidate needs.
· Communicate decisions related to character and reputation reviews, transfers, and designate assessments.
File Management & Coordination
· Prepare files for candidates transferring between CPA regions; process incoming transfer files.
· Work with post-secondary institutions, PERT teams, CPA regions, and internal teams to coordinate admissions, experience transitions, and program requirements.
· Complete assessments for applicants with international designations, including initial reviews and preparing approval summaries.
Operational & System Support
· Process temporary leaves, withdrawals, readmissions, extensions, and annual re-enrollment requirements.
· Assist with DLI reporting and regulatory communications.
· Merge duplicate candidate records and ensure data accuracy across systems.
· Identify process improvements and support SLMS User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Other Responsibilities
· Maintain up-to-date business process documentation.
· Support data-driven reporting using Excel, CRM tools, and Power BI.
· Ensure all actions align with privacy legislation and internal privacy policies
Knowledge and Experience Required
Include but are not limited to:
· Minimum two years experience in an office environment with increasing responsibility.
· High school diploma required; post-secondary certificate or diploma is an asset.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Experience with CRM systems and Power BI is considered an asset.

The salary range for this role is $55,600 to $83,300 per year along with a comprehensive benefits package. This role is based in one of the CPAWSB’s Western Provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan or Manitoba and offers the successful candidate the ability for hybrid work.
