Knowledge Essentials Admission Requirements

CPA Knowledge Essentials is open to individuals residing in western Canada who are preparing for the CPA Knowledge Assessment or entry into the CPA Professional Program. 

Learners who meet (or are expected to meet) the admission requirements for the CPA Professional Program may use CPA Knowledge Essentials as a pathway to develop the prerequisite knowledge assessed through the Knowledge Assessment.

CPA Knowledge Essentials is also available to learners who wish to strengthen their business and accounting knowledge, even if they do not currently meet the admission requirements to write the Knowledge Assessment or register for the CPA Professional Program. 

Participation in CPA Knowledge Essentials alone does not confer eligibility to write the Knowledge Assessment or for admission to the CPA Professional Program.
