To support students and candidates throughout this journey, the CPA Saskatchewan Scholarship Fund Inc. offers multiple awards aimed at recognizing dedication and providing financial relief so you can focus on your professional goals. Funding opportunities are available to newcomers to Canada, 2SLGBTQIA+ learners, students who have children, families facing financial hardships, learners with disabilities and more.
The CPA Saskatchewan Scholarship Fund Inc. provides scholarships, bursaries or grants to individuals living in Saskatchewan who are enrolled in the CPA preparatory courses (PREP) and the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).

List of Available Awards:
- New Immigrants (Transferring Designation) – Given to two CPAWSB candidates with an international accounting designation from another country who are attempting to transfer their designation to CPA SK and are required to retake the CFE as per the terms of the applicable Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
- New Immigrants (Enrolling in CPAWSB) – Given to four individuals enrolled in CPA preparatory courses or CPA PEP with CPAWSB as new students/candidates who moved to Canada within the past 5 years.
- 2SLGBTQIA+ Students/Candidates – Given to four individuals who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and are currently enrolled in CPA preparatory courses or CPA PEP with CPAWSB.
- Indigenous Students/Candidates – Given to four individuals who identify as part of the Canadian Indigenous community and are currently enrolled in CPA preparatory courses or CPA PEP with CPAWSB.
- Students/Candidates with Disabilities – Given to four individuals who identify as disabled, either physically or mentally and are currently enrolled in CPA preparatory courses or CPA PEP with CPAWSB.
- Single Parent Students/Candidates – Given to four individuals who are single parents to at least one child and are currently enrolled in CPA preparatory courses or CPA PEP with CPAWSB.
- CPA Insurance Plans West - Candidates Supporting Family ($1,500) – Given to two CPA PEP candidates facing financial hardship who are currently enrolled in at least one CPAWSB PEP module.
- Students/Candidates in Need ($1,500) – Given to four CPA preparatory course students and/or CPA PEP candidates facing financial hardship who are currently enrolled in at least one CPAWSB PREP or PEP module.
- Outstanding Student – Tony Ducie – Fall/Winter Semester ($1,000) – Given to a student who has completed a CPA preparatory course module with CPAWSB during the most recent fall or winter semester and has the highest grade out of the eligible applicants (minimum of 85%) of any core module.
- Outstanding Student – Debbie Dillon – Spring/Summer Semester ($1,000) – Given to two applicants who became new Canadians or permanent residents in the most recent five years.
