The CPA Professional Program costs* approximately $16,200 + GST. This does not include the cost of taking the CPA Knowledge Assessment, CPA Knowledge Essentials, or any prerequisite education that may be required for entry into the CPA Professional Program.
*All fees and costs shown are based on the 2027-2028 Academic Year fee schedule and assumes 2.5 years completion. Actual costs will vary by Learner and be based on individual pace and progress.

Please note: The total cost above represents the cost for applicants who complete the entire CPA Professional Program starting with the Foundational Development module. It is based on successfully passing modules and exams on the first attempts. Additional costs will be incurred for module retakes, exam retakes, late registrations, deferrals, appeals, etc.

Expect to pay the following when you apply for admission to CPA Professional Program:
- One-time Application Fee: $150.00 + GST
- One-time Technology Fee: $350.00 + GST
- One-time Prior Experience Recognition Fee: $550 + GST

- First-year annual dues: $1,200.00 + GST
- CPAWSB’s academic year runs from April 1 through March 31
- Foundational Development module fee: $2,000.00 + GST
- Foundational Development exam fee: $1,000.00 + GST
Module fees are paid when learners register for each module during open module registration periods. CPAWSB’s academic year runs from April 1 through March 31. Learners must re-enroll each year and pay the annual fees ($1,200.00 + GST) before they can register in modules that start after April 1. Notification is provided to candidates in December/January by email when annual re-enrollment opens.
Academic Review Cost & Additional Initial Fees
The academic review (formerly known as the transcript assessment) let's you know whether you can enroll in the CPA Professional Program and indicates if you have specific academic admission requirements are outstanding and what needs to be met to submit an admission application for the CPA Professional Program.
The cost is based on your applicant type:
- Canadian Degree applicants: $150 + GST
- International Degree / International Designate applicants: $200 + GST
- Advanced Experience applicants: $200 + GST
(Applicants with no degree or designation; have at least 8 years of relevant experience)
Note: There are no academic review fees for MRA/RMA or CPA Accredited Program applicants.
- Post secondary institution fee to have official transcripts sent to CPAWSB.
- Third-Party evaluations that may be required for international education applicants to verify the Canadian equivalency of their international education.
- Cost of getting a certified translator to provide an English translation for documents/transcripts that are in a language other than English. All submitted documents must be in English.
- Possible costs associated with obtaining a valid study and/or work permit if you are not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
